Our Founder, Robert Langille Has A Passion For Design

After earning his degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Bob served as Superintendent of Grounds at Brown University. He incorporated Landscaping Concepts Inc. in 1987. He is a Rhode Island Certified Horticulturist through the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association and holds a certificate from the URI Green Share Program. With a penchant for innovation and an eye for detail, he takes pride in the beautiful design, quality workmanship and impeccable service that we are known for with every project. Our company is certified for paving installation by the Interlocking Concrete and Pavement Institute.

Bob Is Recognized As A Leading Landscaper

Bob was the resident landscape expert on the 2001 Rhode Island Home Design cable show seen on HGTV. Landscaping Concepts received a Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association’s Landscape Excellence Award for Commercial Design and Build, and our landscaping and water gardening work has been featured in the Providence Sunday Journal, the Pawtucket Times and Rhode Island Monthly magazine.

Lawn & Landscape, a national trade publication with a circulation of 75,000, selected Bob and Landscaping Concepts Inc. as one of ten companies during the year it recognized with a cover story and in-depth article. Snow Magazine quoted Bob as an industry expert in a recent issue.
